Closure, Time Out and Self-Exclusion
Service closure
Service closures allow you to directly block single or all offered products on your account. You can apply temporary blocks for pre-defined periods or indefinite blocks, lasting until you decide to lift them again. Blocking all products will also prevent further deposits into your account until at least one product is reopened.
Time-out or Cool-Off periods
Sportingbet customers can take a break from gaming at any time. These breaks can go from a day to any other period of your choice up to 6 weeks. Once the time-out/cool-off period expires, the account will reopen automatically. If during this time you wish to reopen your account, please contact the Customer Service Team who may oblige at their discretion.
Self-exclusion
If you wish to self-exclude from gaming completely, you may make an application to do so with the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board (WCGRB) by contacting them on selfexclusion@wcgrb.co.za. Please complete this form and attach it to the email you send to the WCGRB. The self-exclusion from all gaming will only commence upon receipt of the Notification from the WCGRB and until such time you remain liable for any losses incurred.
